Nueva Ibiza success sparks clone condo

The marina-side condominium that set new standards on holiday island Ibiza and sold out in record time to La Liga footballers and style-conscious Brits, is about to be cloned on a next-door development site…
The gleaming steel and glass modernist Nueva Ibiza, with its triangular shaped swimming pool set in a hardwood decked solarium, excited buyers from across Europe who rushed to hand over up to EUR 500,000 for a spacious state of the art apartment with large, cool-out terraces. Smart harbourside restaurants, boutiques, and the close-by attractions of Island capital Ibiza Town were decisive factors for buyers.
Sales went so quickly, the developers were able to closedown their marketing suite and put out the “All Sold” signs, with many would be buyers missing-out and trying to buy the few investor resales that came back on the market.
Now PropertyInSpain.Net, the Island’s top property source, are launching Nueva Ibiza II next door with the promise of even more luxury and innovative features such as self-closing kitchen drawers, drip-free terraces. Even marble finishes of the original are to be replaced by special ceramic tile floors.
Prices for a garden apartment in sub tropical grounds and near the communal pool start at EUR 398,000 and like the earlier success condominium will increase by EUR 15,000 each floor right up to the luxurious level 5 penthouses. Some apartments will also have views across a nature park to Talamanca Beach and buyers can expect to pay around EUR 800,000 for a well-located penthouse.
PropertyInSpain.Net is offering easy purchase with a guaranteed mortgage of 80% that includes the 7% IVA tax. There is a long-term interest only optional mortgage with monthly repayments reduced by 50% from a standard mortgage.
Buyers can reserve their choice for 5% plus a further 5% when the building licence and contract is ready. There is a further 12% during construction and 5% on completion in Q4 2009.
“There are just 59 apartments in Nueva Ibiza 2 and 18 are reserved already by people who missed out on the first development. We think this raises the bar even higher and buyers will be just as delighted as those in Nueva Ibiza 1 were”, said Ben Walker, PropertyInSpain.Net Ibiza manager.
Nueva Ibiza 2 is being pre-launched just weeks after the last of the earlier buyers completed on their apartments and moved in for the summer sun, watersports and clubbing.
