Quick Facts
Ever popular residential tourist resort with many attractions such as beaches, seafood restaurants and nightlife.
More on Denia:
Romans and Moors defended the castle that overlooks the bustling town of narrow streets with dune-backed expansive beaches spread along the coastline, some with high cliffs rising towards the Montgo Mountain. There’s the only natural harbour for hundreds of kilometres with regular ferries to the Balearics, once under the yoke of Denia. There's an incredible array of cafes, pubs, discos and nightspots in the Las Marinas district.
Activities
Walking in the hills of La Marina Alta or along the fine sand beaches. Water sports are big with sailing, windsurfing, diving, fishing, rowing, swimming and marina offering 546 moorings. Mountain climbing , biking or hang-gliding. 18-hole golf course, Club La Sella, designed by José Maria Olazabal.
Property
Many well-built condos alongside the coast road and sandy beaches and a few more ready in the next few years. Landowners who have been hanging on to their holdings are expected to trickle out some prime beachside sites and that could generate increased interest and affect prices.
